About me
Having been born and raised in the UK, Claire emigrated to New Zealand at the beginning of 2004. There she taught both in local schools following the inquiry based New Zealand Curriculum, as well as an independent school following the IB Curriculum. With over 24 years of teaching experience, 12 of those years being PYP, Claire continues to love learning and the power of children finding and growing in their true identity. Claire is an advocate for children managing themselves by taking ownership of their own learning journey and having the opportunity to advocate for themselves by practising student agency.
